\n \nThere are around 14 people, including two partners with Big 4 backgrounds. Business tax and consulting are their focus, and they’ve invested in the software and systems to support that. They care about doing the work properly and giving their clients good advice.
\n \nFor you, it’s an opportunity to bring your experience into a smaller team where you can stay involved in the detail, know your clients and help younger accountants become better at what they do.
\n \nYou’ll have plenty of contact with business owners across Indiana and Illinois. The work is predominantly S corporations and partnerships, alongside individual returns, so you’ll need to enjoy looking at how the business and personal sides connect.
\n \nReview experience is essential. But so is being able to explain your thinking, whether that’s talking a client through a question or helping someone on the team understand a review point.
\nYou’d join two existing Managers and two Seniors. There are younger staff who need your experience, so being around to answer questions and work through things together matters here.
\n \nThey’re looking for a CPA with a broad public accounting background. You might come from a regional firm, a similar sized practice or have a smaller practice of your own.
\n \nAnd they’re honest about the working week. Busy season is around 55 to 60 hours, expected in the office. Flexible schedules and a day working from home are available, with more flexibility considered for the right person. Fridays off are also part of the offering, with the details to discuss.
