Internship OpportunityThis internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.Join the LCS marketing team for a paid, full-time summer internship where you'll create real work for real audiences. You'll find several opportunities to grow as a professional, serve the community, and enhance the lives of seniors.What You'll Do:Support the marketing team with print, digital and presentation design projectsDesign polished graphics, presentations, guides and marketing materialsContribute to brand campaigns and new-business initiativesPrepare and optimize digital imagery for web, email and responsive applicationsHelp develop concepts, mood boards and creative directionsManage multiple projects from initial concept through final productionPresent concepts and creative ideas to the marketing teamIncorporate feedback and follow established brand standardsPrepare production-ready files and conduct quality-control reviewsCollaborate with writers, marketers and other internal partnersSupport the design, development and testing of responsive HTML email campaignsHelp translate approved designs into email-friendly layouts using HTML and CSSReview emails for visual consistency, usability and responsiveness across devicesKnowledge & Skills:Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication design or a related fieldSophomore, junior or senior standingGraphic or digital design experience gained through coursework, employment, freelance work or a previous internshipProficiency in Adobe Creative CloudHigh level of competency with Microsoft Office SuiteStrong understanding of typography, layout, hierarchy and brand consistencyStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlinesExcellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skillsAbility to accept feedback, follow art direction and revise work thoughtfullyA portfolio demonstrating design thinking and proficiency across relevant applicationsPreferred but not required:Experience with HTML and CSS, particularly for email designFamiliarity with motion design or Adobe After EffectsFamiliarity with accessible and responsive design principlesWhy join us?Hands-on experience in a professional environmentMentorship and exposure to senior leadershipOpportunities for networking and career developmentMeaningful project work that makes an impactCompetitive hourly rate: $22.50/hourOur CommitmentLCS creates living experiences that enhance the lives of seniors.
